About me!

Welcome to FasciaYin Yoga – a space where movement meets healing. I’m Kaye, born and raised in the United Kingdom and currently living in Thailand. I have created this practice from lived experience, personal study, and a deep desire to help people feel better in their bodies.

After years of working in wellness, I found the most powerful shifts came when I slowed down and started listening to the tension, the pain, the stillness. Through Yin yoga and myofascial release, I was able to recover from chronic viral arthritis, ease fibromyalgia symptoms, manage stress more effectively, and rebuild mobility in a way that felt gentle, grounded, and sustainable.

My work brings together fascia science, therapeutic movement, and nervous system support because real flexibility starts from within. Whether you’re here to release stiffness, reduce pain, or simply reconnect with yourself, you’re in the right place.

Let’s return to ease, one breath at a time.

FasciaYin Definition

FasciaYin is a therapeutic practice that combines Yin Yoga with targeted myofascial release using therapy balls. It applies sustained compression and stretch to fascial tissue, stimulating mechanoreceptors like Ruffini endings, improving proprioception, and calming the nervous system. The practice supports rehydration of the extracellular matrix, reduces sympathetic dominance, and facilitates healthy collagen turnover, contributing to improved mobility, circulation, and reduced pain sensitivity. Over time, it helps remodel dense or dehydrated fascia by encouraging fluid exchange and fascial elasticity.

FasciaYin is particularly beneficial for individuals experiencing chronic tension, postural imbalances, reduced flexibility, trauma-related somatic symptoms, and nervous system dysregulation. It is also effective for those in midlife or beyond, athletes in recovery, or anyone navigating the physical effects of stress, aging, or sedentary living. This practice provides both an anatomical and emotional reset by restoring body awareness, balance, and ease in movement.

How FasciaYin Was Born

Living with Pain, Seeking Relief

Chronic pain led me to study yoga, movement, and bodywork more deeply. I discovered fascia through personal experience.

Study & Experimentation Begin

I immersed myself in fascia anatomy, myofascial release, Yin Yoga, and nervous system research.

I completed the 200hr Yoga Instructor Course with a focus on Yin Yoga, followed by a targeted 50hr Yin Yoga & 50hr Restorative Yoga course. I tested what worked on my own body, then on close friends and private classes.

Teaching FasciaYin in Thailand

I began integrating therapy ball work and fascia principles into Yin classes, first at Koh Jum Beach Villas, then in my online classes and studios in Pai. The results were profound: better sleep, less pain, emotional releases, and improved mobility in students of all ages.

Mentorship & Deeper Study

I spent two months under the mentorship of the Fascia Research Society, learning directly from some of the world’s leading experts in fascial science. During this time, I completed the Fascia Fitness Instructor certification, deepening my understanding of fascia mechanics, hydration, adaptation, and therapeutic application. This advanced training now forms the backbone of how I teach and support others through FasciaYin.

Expanding & Sharing the Work

This year marks the launch of the FasciaYin website, a dedicated platform to share this method more widely. I’m continuing my studies in anatomy, myofascial release techniques, and advancing toward my 300-hour yoga teacher certification. I now offer a full ecosystem of support,  from group classes and private sessions to seasonal retreats and FasciaYin training programmes,  for students and teachers ready to go deeper.
